The exhibition can be seen until September 4th in the Genova Rooms of the Royal Palace in Madrid, and combines works by the legendary Brazilian artist, winner of the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts, with nineteenth-century photographs by Atkinson, Nadar, Laurent, Fazio and Clifford, on loan from the Royal Collections at National Heritage. The company’s General Shareholders’ Meeting, held in Madrid at the end of June, also approved the dividend payment shortly afterwards, on July 7th. The balance sheet for the 2021 financial year highlighted the creation of wealth for the different stakeholders and society, with a social cash flow of €10 billion, and that 93% of CapEx is already aligned with sustainable activities, according to European standards. The Board endorsed the appointment of Maite Arango García-Urtiaga and Carlo Clavarino as independent directors, along with the re-election of Sonia Dulá. For his part, the Executive Chairman, José Manuel Entrecanales, highlighted the record contracting of Infrastructure in all markets, especially Australia. With regard to the global energy crisis, he advocated “radically strengthening renewable generation” and unwavering support for storage, new technology and energy efficiency. ACCIONA and partner SEPCOIII have begun work on an infrastructure capable of filtering 570,000 m3 per day, and supplying two million people when it becomes operational in 2024. The company is consolidating its position as the country’s leading water contractor and, once its ongoing projects are completed, five desalination plants will supply 8.3 million inhabitants, almost a quarter of the Saudi pop-ulation, along with three large wastewater treatment plants.
